The Alma Area Chamber of Commerce, established in 1984, is a voluntary organization of business and individuals working together for the betterment of Crawford County. The Chamber is governed by an eighteen member board of directors and is staffed with an executive director and volunteers.

Our Mission Statement:

"The Chamber is business and professional people working together to make Alma & Crawford County a better place for everyone to live and work."

To achieve our mission, the Chamber focuses on the four elements of a strong chamber: business development, economic development, tourism and quality of life. It is through the work and participation of Chamber members that we strive to be effective and support our members.

Our Objectives:

To promote business, education, agriculture, tourism and the superior quality of life in Crawford County, Arkansas.

To voice an opinion on behalf of our members, and in the best interest of the community, to our local area elected officials.

To provide to the community a group resource to gather together and to address issues which affect all aspects of the community.
