It’s easy to think of Gateway to Science as a local attraction, but did you know that we see visitors from all over the country? Since we opened in 1994, our audience has been split fairly evenly between three categories:

1) group visits, including school field trips;

2) educational programs and workshops and

3) walk-in traffic, including families. In 2012, we are hosting visitors from Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New York, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Canada. We’ve seen North Dakota visitors from Belden, Bowman, Dickinson, Judson, Minot, Rugby, Sawyer, Turtle Lake, Tuttle, West Fargo, Williston, Wilton, Wing and Zeeland.
