Mission Statement:
The theme adopted by the North Central Nevada Historical Society will illustrate that its purpose is "to bring the past into the present, and future, and all the while doing what is best for the community." Their intent is to establish a regional history repository for North Central Nevada. The Society's major function will be to discover and collect any material which may help to establish or illustrate the history of the area, and to provide for the preservation of such materials. The Museum's displays and exhibits shall contain recognizable relationships or references to the theme in an attempt to provide a thematic thread or storyline.
