Lake Region Heritage Center, Inc. is a private non-profit 501(c)(3).
Our mission is to provide our citizens and visitors with the art and history of the Lake Region in order to strengthen North Central North Dakota’s culture and heritage for current and future generations.
The Lake Region Heritage Center, Inc. has been in existence since 1974. We acquired the Old Post Office Building in 1980 in order to offer more space for exhibits and programming. Since then, the Lake Region Heritage Center has continued to serve the Lake Region and its visitors by providing a space for recreation, informal learning, and discovery.
