Formerly the Leigh Banana Case Company Commissary, the general store was moved here in the early 1950s from Ellenton, a town displaced by the building of a nuclear plant. In1998, local master potter Liz Ringus opened the gallery as her pottery studio and to display the works of other area artists and craftspeople. Liz is known for her face jugs, palmetto buckets, and she also makes a mean peach cupcake! Visitors can watch pottery turned on site while browsing through the eclectic works of the many diverse artists from this part of the state.
