Awesome zoo! The Adventure trails are new and such a fun thing for the kids. We also enjoyed the HUGE splash pad (Alaskan Adventure). The aquarium is always a family favorite. The African Grasslands exhibit is such and awesome addition as well. It makes seeing the large animals, like the elephant and giraffes much easier. We especially love the fact that we can pack a lunch and bring it into the zoo to eat. If not prepared for lunch, there are plenty of food options available.

It's one of the best zoos in the world - what more is there to say! If you live in the Omaha area definitely splurge for a pass - then you can enjoy even brief visits all year long. There's so much to see and do and the new exhibits just keep coming! If you haven't been to the new Stingray pool I highly recommend. I believe for $2 you can feed a stingray, that just gave me such a thrill! Lots of indoor exhibits so it's a joy year-round! You can go hang out in a desert or tropical jungle in the dead of winter!

Great for a family fun day or school field trip. Good for visitors to explore too. Summers and weekends are quite crowded and busy & without a yearly pass it can be very expensive if you are going more than just one day a year. Good restaurant to eat at while there, but quite pricey as well. Fun & educational & great walking exercise too! Not bad at all, just can be a bit pricey if you aren't prepared for it.

I just revisited for the first time since Joining the military 4 years ago. I had fond memories from childhood of this place, and after going to the San Diego Zoo I told people that Omaha's was comparably good. Then I revisited. For Military, Henry Doorly gives a discount of 1 dollar. That's almost no discount at all. San Diego Gives free admission, so I will probably save my money for other things. In my recent visit, the lions and the elephants were nowhere to be found, and we were harassed by an employee about the Zoo pass that my friends were using. It's still a fine place, but I give it a three based on other places I have been. If you're not a traveller this place might as well be a five. I would like to see a discount greater than one dollar for Military, Police, and Senior citizens. Their admission to walk around hardly generates any cost to the zoo. One dollar...

This place is great! Drove 4 hours to take the kids to the zoo and it did not disappoint. Everyone had a great time. The aquarium was amazing and for us the best part. They have a walk through where fish swim all around and over you. Just amazing
