Santa's Village Azoosment Park
Enjoy the nostalgic Santa's Village with alpine buildings and beautifully landscaped pathways, there's kid's stuff galore- Home of the original Santa's Tree House Slide, the Kringle Convoy, Star Jets, the Antique Carousel, Kiddieland's original Midge-O-Racers and so much more. There's Redemption and Games of Skill in the midway and other great rides like the Balloon Race, Tilt-A-Whirl and Dracor the Dragon Coaster blazing a high-speed trail for young and old alike. Take your picture at the frosty North Pole and be a mate on the Viking Sea Dragon ship as you pendulum into the clouds. See a live show and of course, Santa's waiting for you too!
Great place to take young kids. After the renovations and new ownership, the theme park has been restored to add the nostalgia factor for parents that may have visited when they were children. Admission prices are usually reasonable, since online ticket packages are often available. The only reason for 4 stars is because the parking situation is less than ideal. It is definitely in need of resurfacing and to fit the most amount of cars sometimes leads to long wait times to exit. Be sure to take advantage of the picnic area and pack your own food to save even more money.
My kids love this place!! They have all levels and all types of rides so every age group can enjoy themselves. The food is very reasonable priced. You can also always find bogo free coupons, so I don't feel creatures taking them since I don't usually go in the rides. Definitely a "don't miss"!!
What a great place. The combination of a petting zoo and some rides is fantastic. My kids love it. Whenever we visit Illinois now my kids immediately start in on going to Santa's. I appreciate that it is a small place, not like Great America. It has personality, rather that everything being all corporated. Trees for shade, places to sit. It is enjoyable to visit.
Love this place! Every year they add more attractions. You can take little kids there as well as teenagers..they have plenty of attractions for every age. Plenty of parking spaces although in the summer and on the weekends it gets very crowded and parkings are filling up fast. If you plan on going tjere more than once a year then I recommend buying a season pass. It's well worth it.
I took my 16, 12, 8 and 2 year old here. Used a deal for buy one get on half off admission. We had never been here before and I was worried my older kids wouldn't have fun... We ALL had fun! It was small enough that the lines weren't bad at all. But big enough where we spent 8 hours entertained! I'm glad I went! One cool tidbit, check out done YouTube videos from when it was abandoned! So cool to see the difference!
